We are proud that REINARTZ will supply the new HiProMine S.A. facility in Karkoszów, Poland, one of the largest facilities in Europe for producing insect-based products. Our technologies enable the industrial-scale processing of dried Black Soldier Fly larvae (Hermetia illucens). This order adds to our company’s series of major insect projects. Effective January 24, 2023, a new EU law allows the use of house crickets in food products. Insects are nutritious and high in protein, with a favorable ecological footprint compared to livestock like pigs and cattle, producing fewer greenhouse gases.
