BioeconomyREVIER: Shaping the Future in the Rhenish Mining Region
In the Rhineland, there is a scientific landscape for the bioeconomy that is unique in Germany. To what extent is this potential already being used in education and training for the regional economy? Where should regional competence and qualification profiles be sharpened? Questions like these were put under the microscope in a recently published study. As a major player from this region REINARTZ also has a clear stance on this, as our Managing Director Niklas Stadermann’s statement clearly shows (page 9). You may view and download the study online here: https://www.biooekonomierevier.de/Studie_Wissen_und_Bildung.
ALWAYS READY FOR NEW SOLUTIONS
The extraction of proteins is a continually topical issue in the animal feed market. Healthy and nutritious, yet economical feed is required. There are several ideas, but the chosen option must fit one’s own needs. Recently the macadamia nut was reported to be highly protein-rich and a wonderful alternative for feeding to poultry.
This raw material is by no means new to us. Years ago, we started the first series of trials for processing the rich “queen of nuts” and have continued to optimize press settings. Since then, numerous customers have already benefited from our solutions tailored to their individual needs. Because this is what REINARTZ is all about: we offer tailor-made solutions and not components from the catalogue. In addition, we have successfully developed many other alternatives – whether for the recovery of protein-containing press cake from plants or insect larvae. Or use of other raw materials for other applications. Please have a look at our raw material overview – we offer solutions for the processing and conversion of many different materials. Are you missing a resource in our list? No problem – we love challenges! Just contact us.
go-Inno – progress through innovation
In order to obtain high-quality proteins from the rapeseed press cake, the resulting temperatures in the press must be regulated with pinpoint accuracy. This is now possible thanks to a newly developed cooling method. Our project on this functional protein recovery, in cooperation with the consulting company abc GmbH, was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics as part of the “go-Inno” program. Here, companies are supported in the preparation and implementation of product and technical process innovations. Innovation Award “RHEINLAND GENIAL“
As part of the “We are reinventing Germany” campaign, REINARTZ was awarded the “RHEINLAND GENIAL” innovation prize by the association Metropolregion Rheinland e. V. for the development of innovative machines and processes for the production of alternative protein sources for the animal feed industry. The Rhineland Metropolitan Region is an alliance of European standing. With 8.5 million people, it is the most populous region in Germany – and it continues to grow.
REINARTZ systems are used in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Italy and Korea to produce high-quality protein meal from insect larvae. This meal is the basis for cat, dog or fish food. The construction of the plants is tailored to the customers’ needs.
With the development of innovative machines and processes, REINARTZ ensures efficient, environmentally friendly feed production.
RAPESEED OIL FOR GOURMET CHEFS AND NUTRITIONISTS – WATCH OUT!
A fine-nutty aroma, full of unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids and beneficial vitamins – the 100% rapeseed oil from LBV Hohenloher Ebene is one of the most popular of its kind. The high quality of this pure natural product is carefully manufactured with our cold-press separation processes of the AP15. 25 tons of seed can be processed and refined daily. In addition, rape cake is produced and is used as protein-rich animal food. A sustainable, profitable recycling economy – watch out

100 SQUARE METER INSTEAD OF 100 HECTARE
One tonne of protein per day – this is the production capacity that our customer NextProtein achieves with the separation technology of our TP15. Extracted from black soldier fly insect larvae, the raw material is approved by the EU as feed for aquaculture, poultry, pigs and pets. NextProtein generates on 100 square meters of larval breeding – based on organic waste – as much protein as others extract on about 100 hectares of soybean cultivation area. Reinartz separation technologies prevent resources and create efficient sustainability.
FOR A DECENTRALIZED, REGIONAL AND SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
Precision – hardly anything is more important. If the motor is perfectly aligned and locked in its place, the intended gap for the pellet disc is exactly two tenths of a millimeter. This guarantees the optimal and sustained operation of our AP 14/30 at its later destination, a farm in Canada. Where soya is grown and harvested, farmers will use our AP 14/30 to produce their own animal feed: 3.200 tons of high-quality protein pressing cakes, plus soy bean oil, every year. Decentralized, regional and sustainable.
All-Around-Performance-Service
Throughout the processes, REINARTZ works like a docked technical department, from whose all-round service performance our customers benefit: thanks to many years of experience in a young industry, due to numerous plant implementations of various sizes and services, based on our leading know-how.
We are pleased to accompany our customers through our sustainable, cost-efficient after-sales service. You have questions, we have the right answers and corresponding services for your needs. Our all-around performance service enables you to participate reliably, optimally and as quickly as possible in the insect meal production by pressing methods.
100 PERCENT INCREASE IN PERFORMANCE!
Qualité, Fabrication, Progrès – our service-team has commissioned another pressing plant including the adaptation of the existing filtration plant in France. The result: one more satisfied REINARTZ customer. Processing capacity of his plant doubled to approx. 1,800 kilograms per hour. Soya from local cultivation is processed to high-quality press cake and first-class oil used as animal feed. Performance á la REINARTZ!
